Gourmet Magazine named Biga one of the five best restaurants in Texas. Fine dining has never meant "fussy" to Chef Auden. Biga's ambiance is casual and relaxed - San Antonio style. What a great meal..AND worth the price. My husband said the veal chop was the best he has ever eaten. They even had a Semmion on the wine list, a variety difficult to find in the USA.

My friends and I were out on the town. It was "girls night." First stop was Biga's and really the night could have ended there! We had the best time! The food was scrumptious. The service was incredible. We were running late and had to change our reservation (more than twice)and the staff was very helpful. They didn't turn us away. They took care of us from the first moment we walked through the door. We even talked about returning with our husbands and the waiters told us about their "special" private tables. It was a great night! I'm sorry other reviewers didn't have the same experience, but one has to wonder: were they at the same place?
