Great food, tasty margaritas, live music and a trendy atmosphere lure locals and tourists to this favorite eatery nestled on the edge of the Historic King William District. Rosario's flaunts purple ceilings, ceiling fans and a neon bar. The pink and turquoise interior flatters the equally colorful food. Start out with the freshly prepared salsa with tostadas, or with an order of ceviche or nachos. For dinner some of your best bets are the pollo diablo or the pipian plate. The pollo diablo is a charbroiled chicken breast covered with spicy ranchero sauce and white cheese. The pipian is a grilled chicken breast smothered with a mole-like sauce of ground nuts, seeds and spices. Other favorites are the calabacito con puerco, puffy tacos, steak ranchero, flautas or carne de puerco en chile cascabel. For dessert have the delicious capirotada with caramel. Sax improv reigns on Friday night. Latin jazz smooths out Saturday after dark.

Fabulous

Great place to meet every year during the Winter season when all the lights are up. Best spot for eating, people watching and to be able to hear what your company is saying when they are talking is outside. Inside is always crowded and too noisey! Best spot is outside, lights reflecting off of the water.

Bit Hecky

To me it was kind of crowded, hard to get around. The food seemed tasty but greasy. It is also to loud, inside.

DISAPPOINTING

Not worth the hype. Cold environment. Not at all what you would expect. Seemed more like a cafeteria than a great mexican restaurant. Food was average. Not worth the wait. For really true amazing Mexican try Mi Tierra, we were in town only 4 days and ate there almost every day. Fantastic food, service. Still dreaming of their pillow like tortillas. Mmmmm.

Great place to go. We start out at Rosario's before going to King William every year. Fun place & good food.
