The Original Coco's presents a colorful orange and chrome exterior and an equally eye-opening interior decor. You'll need wide eyes to take in its bright yellow and purple walls, orange-tinged tile and glossy neon green display case that exhibits a variety of creamy gelato. Fresh fruit smoothies (with or without supplements), fruit cups and invigorating fruit waters are popular choices for the after-school crowds that stream here from nearby schools. For this reason, the weekday hours between 2 and 5PM are prime time at Coco's. For a quick burst of green energy, try a one- or two-ounce wheat grass shot -- if you dare.
