Bubs Whiskey Dive   

bubs is a very good place to relax for me the bartenders are friendly and gorgeous. the downside no hard alcohol, just beer and wine, but that is fine, a great place to play pool or sit and chat to the locals

I'm always comfortable when I walk into Bub's. The girls behind the bar are friendly and the clientele is also mellow. As a female alone, there are not many places that I'm comfortable walking into, but this one works for me. I can usually shoot a game a pool or talk to locals. It's close to everything in Oceanside, including the new theater. A few marines there but not a jarhead bar.
