Parkhouse Eatery   

Myself and my friends "tried" to dine at this establishment for the "Dine for Life" venue. A great cause and the reason we came out! However our experience literally went to the dogs... no pun intended, and the evening was cut short, (not really, as the service was so very slow). Considering the Caesar salad was horrible, (how can anyone mess up a salad?), I am a little relieved that we decided to depart before the entree's arrived. I had expressed extreme dismay at the fact that 2 very large slobbery Bull Dogs were placed next to us on the patio. They were propped up in their own chairs AT the table and the wait staff were petting and languishing over them. I informed the hostess that if indeed the dogs were actually fed ON the table, that there would be a problem. Indeed 40 minutes later, they WERE served ON the table, their owners feeding them scrambled eggs ON the establishment’s plates and a fork that is to be used later by some other patron. We were disgusted to the point of losing our appetites. No offer to move us to another table, just EXTREME ATTITUDE from "Tony" the owner. Snails pace service and the owners attitude made for a very bad evening. After we expressed concern, no solution was offered and Tony became VERY confrontational, so we departed fearing food tampering.

I've been here quite a few times. Nice atmosphere and great for breakfast and dinner. Nice if you like good food and presentation. It's just one of those neighborhood spots that's like eating with friends.

Been here multiple times w/ friends and family for breakfast/brunch. Never disappointed and always innovative dishes and presentation. Should be on the “pick list” Funky - cool atmosphere and good service. Highly recommended.

Nice servers, good service, nice patio to sit and relax, but the food was not impressive at all...a nice place to go and have a drink but I don't recommend coming here if your looking for good food!
