If you like to rock out in dive bars, then you just might have found your haunt. The Jumping Turtle advertises itself as offering the widest range of live music and performers in Southern California, and the weekends are usually packed here with blues, metal, rock and alternative music fans. The scene's dimly lit and very casual, just good times and loud bands. On quieter nights, swing by for a game of billiards or for a meal with friends on the outdoor patio. Great metal!
The ONLY place to go for all the best metal!
Great music and food
This place is very cool. It has great music and food. The female wait staff are great. The male bartenders have never said thank you or much at all to me. I tip very well but still they take for ever to wait on me and are not friendly at all. Just the oppisite for the female staff all friendly and on top of it. I do like going there it's a little weird to have kids running around but I wish I had a place like this one I was young.
Best Music Scene in SD
The only place in SD where all ages can see great shows from metal and rock to country and rock-a-billy! Security is excellent which provides a safe place to have a great time and hear good tunes!
