If the best seafood restaurants are built on the freshness of their fish, Bay Park makes sure you know what their stance is the moment you walk in the door. In addition to cooking up delicious preparations, they have a seafood deli counter up front where you can buy cuts or whole fish, which vary depending on what the boat brought in that day. Even if you don't plan on taking anything home to cook yourself, you can tell by how purple-red the ahi in the glass case is, and how clear the eyes of the sea bass are that this fish is going to be delicious. The restaurant feels like it belongs in a fishing village somewhere in Baja. From the corrugated tin roof facade and endless photos of anglers with their catches to a menu chock full of steamed clams, ceviche, panko-crusted fish tacos and swordfish tortas, Bay Park delivers a lifestyle characterized by relaxation and great, simple food.

The BEST seafood in SD

Not to mention the staff is awsome. Paul is usually behind the bar, and couldn't be a better, nicer guy. The daily torta specials are like $10, and I recomend the spicy crab and tuna. The macadamian crusted halibut is insane(isn't on the menu, but is a local favorite). I have lived a block away for the last 2 years and go at least once a week. Disregard the first review

I frequent the Bay Park Fish Co. I am there at least once a week. All the fish is fresh and I've yet to have anything that would keep me from going back. Their whole fired Rockfish is awsome. Not only does is get everyone talking once it is brought out, it's Delish! Not greasy at all, and the rockfish is a very flaky fish, very meaty, great flavor. It's great for sharing as well. Their Ahi Poke app. is one of my favorites. A nice spicy kick and a little bit of sweetness as well. The popular fried calamari is good also, But if you want a twist try the kung pao calamari. They have great specials everyday. Macadamia nut crusted halibut. Grilled Salmon with a papaya slasa. Huge sea scallops Seafood Pasta.... Just ignore that other person, they don't know what they're talking about. Bay Park Fish Co. is one of San Diego's best place for Seafood.
