Buca Di Beppo   

I have to admit that my family of 5 visited Buca Di Beppo during our vacation 2 years ago. I would have loved to have rated it 5 stars, but since there is such a gap in time, I figured it was only fair. Let me say that when I saw this listed as one of the best places to eat, my mouth watered, I had great memories of sitting at a large table that was cared for by a friendly wait staff. The wait staff was very helpful with any questions we had and waited on us diligently...and the place was packed! The meals are humongous and, yes, they even taste good, so it is a perfect place for large groups to go (families and/or friends), especially if you love to try a little of what someone else ordered. If we ever visit San Diego again, this is absolutely one of the restaurants that I will be looking forward to dining at again.
