Cafe Zucchero   

Cafe Zucherro is really a restaurant, but it's also a positively transporting coffee and pastry experience. The coffee drinks are fabulous, and the setting is pure Tuscany. But it's the sweets -- crafted lovingly, sensually, artfully (dare we say orgasmically?) by Master Chef and San Diego Scooby snack legend Frank Busalacchi (of Busalacchi's Ristorante) -- that turn every patron into a devoted follower. A warm spring evening on the Cafe Zucchero patio, lingering over espresso and a flourless chocolate cake takes decadence to a whole new level. How could you go anywhere else? Wear your best knock-off Prada, and insist that your date speak with an Italian accent. Pout a lot, and lick the chocolate off each other's fingers. This is the place to do it.
