One of San Diego's best fish restaurants is a bit of a drive for city-dwellers, but it's worth it. Outstanding chowders, oysters Rockefeller, crabmeat cocktail, Cajun catfish, shrimp and scallop combo and rainbow trout, as well as fresh fish right from the dock. Party facilities. Can accommodate large groups. Fresh fish market. Takeout available. Reservations accepted.

Such a disappointment!
I took a visitor from the midwest for fish tacos. They were nothing like fish tacos should be. They were bland, had plain sour cream for the sauce, and they were expensive! It also smelled so fishy in there because of the fish market.
What a Joke !
Fake "Krab" at a Fish House???!!!!! Enough Said.
Great Seafood
I've been going to Fish House Vera Cruz since I was a kid. It is always great! I love their sourdough bread and potatoes, and the fish is always fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
Great Review
I don't know how anyone could slam this place. I've always had great service and the food has been excellent. I go down to the Carlsbad location as often as possible and constantly recommend it to people as an outstanding place for seafood, good prices and even better service.
