Seafood cannot get any fresher -- guests order, in many cases, right out of the tank. Jasmine Seafood Restaurant enjoys a reputation for its particularly fine ambience and food in the local Asian community, while rapidly becoming the darling of curious diners who venture in from the suburbs. Departing from the typical with a vast, neon-embellished dining room, the eatery features cuisine from China's Canton region. Dim sum is served daily. Several of the heavily laden silver carts make the rounds, ensuring that each diner has a chance to select as many of the bite-sized delicacies as they might like. Jasmine's banquet room accommodates up to 800 people. It's a favorite spot for business meetings and special events. A special catering menu makes it easy to stage an impressive dinner quite economically.

You would think that the number one chinese restaurant in san diego would have a healthier brown rice option but they didnt so i went to the china inn in pacific beach where they did have it and was quite satisfied.

Very Accommodating

Being from out of state, I was looking for a local florist near my daughter's Chicago apartment who would not charge me an outrageous delivery fee. She loved the beautiful birthday flowers! I will definitely call Veronica again.

OMG was THAT bad

If you have a real craving for overpriced, bland-to-horrid food served indifferently in a setting with all the ambience of a repainted Walgreen's, then this is the restaurant for you. City's Best? Something went terribly, horribly wrong with that vote.

Complete disappointment
By pbridge130 on 06/10/2006
I had high hopes for a slick, professional Hong-Kong-style experience. It was a Friday night, and I called for reservations. No need, it turned out. The place is huge, and was 75% empty. It was shabby and dirty, with wear and dirt showing on carpet and walls. Dim, poor lighting. Dirty, neglected men's room. Our waitress was surly and un-interested. Two of the dishes came, but she forgot the third, and it never arrived. The food that we did receive was ok -- fresh vegetables, but too heavily and too sweetly sauced. Give it a miss.
