Pastry chef Beryl Byrd has been creating unbelievable custom wedding cakes and supplying many restaurants' desserts for the better part of 20 years through Just Fabulous Pastries. She is nationally known for the unconventional sensory appeal of these creations. The demand for a spot for customers to sample Chef Byrd's amazing pastries prompted her to open Just Fabulous Kensington, a vibrant little bistro awash in flowers and cantaloupe-colored walls. The desserts' reputation may bring people through the door, but the entrees make returning customers out of them. Although the menu is always changing in order to keep up with seasonal ingredients and imagination, you can look forward to something along the lines of crispy salmon spring rolls with a cucumber dressing, herbed pan-seared chicken with garlic potatoes or an indulgent burger made with Kobe beef and truffle cheese.
