The quaintness of Antique Row Cafe is derived from an accumulation of, well, antiques. Everywhere, there are pictorial and material reminders of days gone past. Photos of famous actors, sports stars and musicians of yesteryear; memorabilia; antique toys and just the overall feeling of an old roadside diner gets people out of their wireless, techno lifestyles and eased into a relaxing meal of classic American fare. "The Row" is a popular breakfast stop, especially on weekends, when you should be ready for a wait. All the traditional breakfast favorites, such as Denver omelets, are on the menu, as well as some fun alterations like cinnamon apple pancakes. There are also some vegetarian dishes to appease the progressive San Diegan crowd. Vegetable scramblers (or tofu scramblers for the ovo-objector) are healthy delights. Although the restaurant has a bit of a diner feeling, the quality is a nice couple steps up from any greasy spoon. Portions are large, well-prepared and well-presented.

UNCLEAN!
By tookarip on 08/30/2009
everything was overpriced to begin with. then there was a pretty good sized SPIDER in my girlfriends strawberry topped waffle. i can make a waffle at home for .15 cents not seven dollars. so they acted all retarded about where it coulda came from and it was obvious that they could not care less. ill never go there again.

It's a mediocre restaurant
By mudgely on 03/02/2008
I've gone the the Antique Row off and on for more than 10 years, but only when others want to go. The place is not bad, but then it is not especially good either. The last time I was there, we ate outside at a sidewalk table. All of the tables were covered with flies. They had small electric fans on each table which were ineffective in blowing the flies away. I have not been back since, for obvious reasons. They had no idea where the flies were coming from. I hope they solved the problem

Their COBB SALAD is my FAVE!!!
By hyperlovechild on 02/28/2007
I am addicted to their Cobb salad, it is a must try! I go there all the time just to eat their cobb salad. Not to mention their theme, atmosphere, and service is also excellent. As much as I love this place, I do feel that their dishes are a little overpriced.
