Located only three blocks from the beach, Beach Break Cafe boasts such a friendly cast of characters that owner Gary Dwelley has christened it "the Cheers of breakfast places." The cafe is decorated in a surf theme, with surfboards and surf photos on the wall, as well as televisions showcasing professional surfers. Serving breakfast and lunch daily, the cafe features food that is tasty and inexpensive, with specialty egg and omelet dishes and burgers highlighting the menu. Beach Break Cafe opened in 1988, and offers indoor and outdoor dining. Dog owners frequent so they can catch a bite to eat while Fido enjoys a nibble or two of the leftovers.

No Better Place Around
Been a regular for many years. Food portions are out of this world, quality of food is excellent, service is fantastic and they guys in the kitchen are awesome. You know you will run into friends and family, because that's the way that Gary and Zell make you feel. Always look forward to starting my day at the Beach Break Cafe.

MY HUSBAND AND I EAT THERE OFTEN AND LOVE EVERYTHING ON THE MENU! THE WAIT IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT. GARY AND ZELL DO A GREAT JOB. AND SO DO ALL THEIR EMPLOYEES! ALWAYS INNOATIVE "DAILY SPECIALS" TO LOOK FORWARD TO. WE ARE OCEANSIDE LOCALS SO WE ALWAYS RUN INTO A FAMILIAR FACE.
