Since 1999, Brians' (the apostophe is correct after the S) has continued in the tradition of large portions at reasonable prices. The restaurant has worked hard to keep its refurbished diner looking as crisp and modern as it did back in the '50s. Baby blue vinyl booths, stainless steel blue-and-yellow light fixtures and hot pink bar stools are swinging reminders of days gone past. The nostalgia stops there though. Poppy, modern hits grace the sound system, and hints of modern art are mounted around the room. While the surroundings teeter between eras, the food is timeless. The spot sees a lot of breakfast business, as people vie for a seat and one of Brians' hearty omelets. Half-pound burgers and rib eye join chicken parmigian on the dinner menu, and none leaves you wanting. What's a diner without homemade pie?
