Whackass12 doesn't know anything about this place. Just returned from dinner and the place is awesome. HUGE portions and lots of food that melts in your mouth. Been going there for years, both places.
Horrible RIBs
I have no idea why everyone raves about this place, the ribs are way overpriced, overcooked and the portions are ridiculously small. The meat doesnt fall off the bones of the ribs like any good set of ribs does, the sauce is alright at best. People, none of these people before me who have reviewed Phil's BBQ know what they are talking about!

Damn Good BBQ
Take it from someone who spent their childhood working in two BBQ joints in Texas. PHIL'S HAS THE BEST "Q" IN SAN DIEGO. When I am too lazy to cook my own, this is the only place that I will go. Get down there and experience some good eatin'.
