With floor to ceiling windows and glass panel doors that disappear into the walls, the restaurant has a breezy, fresh-air feel and panorama view of people parading from the energetic East Village to the gregarious Gaslamp District.

Elegance To The Last Bite

As you walk into the restaurant, the friendly faces and welcoming arms pull you into a wonderfully layed out dining room. With communal tables for getting to know your neighbors you're dining with, smaller tables for the casual couple, and romantic large black leather booths for the intimate dining experiences, Soleil has something for everyone. A beautiful rotisserie and wood-fire brick oven, open kitchen also has a bar for seating available in the restaurant. During the mornings this is transformed into a fantastic array of breakfast items. I came in with my fiancee just two weeks ago, and was absolutely astounded by everything this restaurant had to offer. Their quality of service was pristine, and the knowledgeable staff helped guide us to a more than adequate dining experience. The food is clean. That's the best way to describe the dishes here at Soleil. With little but the lively flavor to interrupt you, and your favorite wine to accompany it(they also feature a huge wine list) you can't go wrong here. Thanks again for redifining for me, what ~THE~ dining experience in San Diego should be like.

Best food I've had in the San Diego area. Little far from the Gaslamp, but a place like this is worth the hike.
