This theme bar will make you feel like you've taken a time machine back to the '50s, directly into Mom's beauty salon. Like its sister establishments in NYC and LA, the Beauty Bar has old-fashioned hair dryers where you have a seat and the big plastic helmet flips down over your head. Staring at all the ruby-red and shocking blue-haired hipsters hanging out, you might want to sign up for a hair appointment. Alas, you can't really get a new 'do, but manicures and martinis are a popular combo Wednesday through Saturday. While your nails are getting that special treatment, leave your thirst desires to the stylish bartenders who concoct tasty drinks with names like "Shampoo," "Prell" and "Aqua Net." Make sure you check out the bathrooms -- they're wallpapered with old '50s and '60s beauty magazines for those last minute beauty tips.
