Featuring a wide variety of live music and DJs, the two-level Mission venue is known for showcasing musical genres from around the world while keeping the cover prices low. Tickets to most shows, for example, are under $10. A long wooden bar occupies much of the first floor. In the back, weekend dabblers and experienced players alike hover around the pool table and take turns lounging in a row of old movie theater seats between turns. Upstairs, bands and DJs provide musical entertainment most nights of the week. While the downstairs bar is more likely to host regular patrons, the upstairs crowd changes depending on the night. The music differs greatly each week, but indie rock, alternative Latin and world music acts are common. On Sundays, the venue hosts DJ Sep's much-praised, long-running Dub Mission night. Happy hour runs 5-9PM daily.
