Floreal is a secret cache of flowers and gifts that are decidedly traditional in taste, and European in flair. Of course, you'll find fresh flowers, but also a blend of stone statues, topiary, and lovely antique style vases, decoupage boxes and unique objects d'art for the home and garden. And it's all appealingly displayed on distressed wood tables and shelves. Located between Geary and Post, near Union Square, you'll have to walk a bit off the beaten shopping path to find Floreal. Look for the flowering vine-covered archway entrance, a theme that continues indoors where green vines have been whimsically painted onto the Mediterranean gold walls.
