Joy Luck Place   

Been there for dinner for at least 3 times and recently attended a wedding banquet there. By far this has to be the best Chinese (Cantonese) restaurant in the Southbay - and I've lived here all my life and have tried all the major ones in this caliber (Mayflower, ABC, Dynasty, etc). The restaurant doesn't look as big and fancy as others but the food is the best. I've gotta give their lunch dim-sum a try sometime. They also have a casual Chinese BBQ noodle house right behind the restaurant and it's one of the best we've tried too. According to my friend, they have a sister restaurant by the same name in San Mateo and it's now her favorite (and this says a lot since she came from Hong Kong and grew up in the Sunset area of SF.
