Rate and Write a Review One of the most luxurious hotels in San Francisco, the Mandarin occupies the top 11 floors of a 48-story office building in the Financial District, making it a prime destination for high-rolling business travelers. Many of the "little things" included here are of the high- tech variety, like Internet access, computers and fax machines. But the name suggests an Eastern theme, which you'll find in the gorgeous soaking tub, silk slippers and jasmine tea, as well as the Asian-influenced California cuisine in the hotel's highly regarded Silks Restaurant. Its lofty location means that all rooms have sweeping views of the Bay Area. Walking on the sky bridge that connects the towers, especially at night, is one of San Francisco's lesser-known spectacular experiences.
