Straddled by three bars (one a 30-foot steel monster) and towering ceilings, Mighty easily lives up to its name. The club with a New York feel has made this little nook of a neighborhood between the Mission and Portrero Hill come to life. With a steadily deepening calendar of electronic beats from around the world, Mighty is a virtual warehouse of party action. In its short life, it's already become one of the hottest places in the city to hear top-notch international DJs. The venue is not open every night; be sure to call before you head down to see if there's a show that night. The advantage of having often-shuttered doors is that Mighty is fairly accessible for private parties, if that's your gig.
