Located on Haight Street in the heart of the Haight-Ashbury, the Red Victorian is more than just a hotel. It's a window into the '60s and a home away from home for people of all races and cultures. It's located in a 1904 Victorian-style country resort, with room themes celebrating Hippiedom and the Summer of Love and bathrooms named Starlight, Love, Infinity and Bird's Nest. The Red Vic is in many ways a living museum. Don't miss the decades of guest books that contain the thoughts, poems, ideas and drawings of guests today and from years past. Owner Sami Sunchild offers a family-style breakfast and often joins guests at the big breakfast table.
