Hailed for years as the South Bay's best comedy club, Rooster T. Feathers regularly lines up stand-out stand-up with nationally touring, big-name acts like George Lopez or Bobby Slayton. The crowd -- made up mostly of middle-aged couples or an effusive band of thirtysomethings out on the town -- is always chipper. But then again, the club's exhaustive and exotic drink list also contributes to the contagious mood of merriment. Details: Shows take place Tuesdays through Sunday, starting at 8PM (except on Tuesdays, 7PM). On Friday and Saturday, an extra show is added at 10:30PM. Cover is usually around $10 but never more than $15. Reservations are highly recommended. You must be 21 and over. There is a two-item minimum from the menu.
