One of the Marina/Cow Hollow neighborhood's quintessential bars, this Union Street venue is the only West Coast outpost among the chain's seven U.S. locations. Known for attracting a white-hats and khaki crowd of well-heeled singles, the bar is equally loved and shunned for the fraternity party atmosphere that erupts here on most weekends. Interiors consist of standard bar fare (think wooden bar, TVs showing the game, dart boards and video games), while a small, sub-street level patio outside the entrance gives patrons a place to come up for air. During the week, regulars come for the pool table, jukebox, daily drink specials and classic game-day eats like mini-hamburgers, Buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks. Happy hour runs Mon.-Fri. 4-8PM, and drink specials rotate throughout the week. On weekend nights, expect a bar packed with preppy revelers there for the loud music and see-and-be-seen scene.

laidback bar
By SuHeaven on 06/18/2008
very laidback scene. people play beer pong here. definitely your typical corner bar. ratio: 7guys to 3girls. dress code: tshirt and jeans and maybe sandals, kidding... basically its very relaxed, definitely not a dress to impress place. everyone is fun and chill... it'll remind you of a normal college bar.. average age is 20s to early 30s. weekends are really packed.. beer is cheap... great place to hang out with the guys when watching the game on sunday...
