They specialize to those bustling off to work for coffee and a bagel etc..or usually grabbing their lunch to go, but they do offer much more than that. I lived next door for three years before I realized they also had full meals (Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, cranberry sauce...$6.50). Their specialty seems to be geared to those that want a lot of bang for the buck that have to eat back at work. Although, they have plenty of space to eat there. Mary and David are very personable and people are often shocked by all the choices they have even when ordering a sandwich. They are very accommodating and do a lot of large orders for the lunch-time with regular clients. Everything is fresh and made at the time ordered unless called-in in advance. The salad with Jumbo Shrimp, Jicima and Apple dressed in a Ginger type dressing is absolutely both tasty and refreshing. They have a great Spanish white wine that begins with an A (not good with names) that goes quite well with this. This makes a nice light meal. If this is not enough, add some of their Garlic Fries which are slim, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Then you are good to go!
