The SceneThe chic bar and the main dining area, with its muted yellow walls, high ceilings and tiny wire-strung spotlights, are both welcoming and stylish. The same can be said for the service; from the maitre d' to the bartender and waiters, the staff is poised, but not aloof. Although lunch is casual, dinner can be quite a scene, as the pretty people congregate for exotic cocktails. The Food Highlighting fresh, seasonal ingredients, the chef's stylistic influences come from all over the globe, from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. For starters, try the Thai lamb spring rolls with fennel and mint salad. Roasted chicken is a perennial dinner favorite, served with a rich, smooth, downright divine version of garlic mashed potatoes. Brunch offerings might include a sandwich of perfectly roasted eggplant and peppers with creamy goat cheese that's wrapped, Middle Eastern-style, in toasted lavash bread.

Dinner in Feb. 2004 - pork chops were OVERCOOKED. Sunday brunch is a hit and miss...lox was good, but homemade sausage was tougher than leather and Service is BAD especially when past 10:45 a.m.

Fantastic food and service at this lively, and noisy, neighborhood restaurant. My girlfriend had a wonderful paella, chock full of fresh seafood, perfectly seasoned and delicious. I had the steak with roasted yukon potatoes drizzled with gorgonzola, and wonderfully roasted asparagus. Great wine list. My only criticism...my side of garlic mashed potatoes was cold. Prices were very reasonable, service was attentive and very friendly!

Great atmosphere, tasty drinks but our waiter was horrible. We waited 20mins for our drinks while he didn't hide the fact that he was peeved because I wanted tea instead of coffee. 30mins passed still waiting to order our meal, we noticed our waiter taking taking meal orders at the table next to us (who had arrived 20mins after us). I asked if he could take our order and pointed out that we were waiting a lot longer than they were and he replied, "I'll be with you in a minute. I need to help others. I'm not discriminating against you!!" The thought of discrimination hadn't even crossed my mind. I spoke to the manager who gave me no response. I'm sure the restaurant owner wouldn't appreciate hearing their employees treat their customers in that manner.

Busy and Classy

Busy Place that serves in style and offers a dining experience with lots of hustle and bustle and also quick service. A great place to bring your out of town guests, a comfortable date, or entertain a visiting business partner. Dress comfortably to dressy. Reservations would help everyone. This place offers a full bar on one side of the restaurant and dining on the other with a seperation down the middle. Taste your wine, sit at table clothed tables, lay cloth napkins on your lap, order from a tasty menu and are served correctly on full sized plates that are full and delicious.
