Offering Contemporary Seafood in a sophisticated setting, Aqua has been one of San Francisco's most acclaimed and popular landmark restaurants for over 15 years. We have received a coveted two star rating from The Michelin Guide for the past three years and a 3 1/2 star review from the San Francisco Chronicle. Additionally, we have received awards from Zagat, DiRona, CitySearch, Gayot, and 7x7 Magazine. Excellent service and yes, this is THE place to be see in San Francisco. Food was so-so (we did the chef's seasonal sampler). Be ready to put out the bucks though- this was THE most expensive meal we had ever had, anywhere, and we have been many places. Before tip, and with only a $20 bar tab, about $225 for two people!

The service and food were over the top and Sully (our waiter) was great.this is a great place to take a date but expect to pay. all and all a wonderful experience.
