Worth every penny!

Walked in without a reservation, waited at the bar for about an hour, was finally seated and then enjoyed the best filet I ever had in my life. It melted in my mouth and paired up nicely with a recommended pinot noir from a local winery. Better than Ruth's Chris. Next time I'm visiting the area, reservations will be made.

Good and very expensive
By sarlat96 on 09/09/2005
we ate there recently and it was over 250$ for 4 people including wine. I asked for Heintz 57 sauce and they didnt have it. I thought the food was good but our wine selection ended up being heady and oakey when we had asked them to suggest a french style wine without that heavy oak. In the USA, you can eat very well for that price.

outstanding meat

when i first walked in i was told there was only the bar to sit at, and i couldn't believe it because the place was empty. with a half hour though, the place was jam packed from all the reservations! i had the steak and my wife had the lamb, and they were outstanding! simply seasoned with salt and fresh cracked pepper, the meat was cooked PERFECTLY and the quality of the meat was the star of the show. next time, instead of walking in, i am making reservations for sure!

the best "Beef Wellington" and "Porterhouse" on the planet! Very pricey though. $44.00 for the porterhouse and its a la carte! But if your serious about having the best, this is worth it!
