The only reason Delessio isn't mobbed all the time is its weird non-location between several neighborhoods. Their pastries are delicious and made fresh daily, including amazing cakes, pies and cupcakes. The grilled panini are little slices of hot, toasty heaven (the cubano is excellent), and the breakfast and lunch buffets offer an assortment of healthy, homemade dishes and salads not found anywhere else in the city. Delessio caters parties and sells pre-made sandwiches made fresh daily. The market also brews Peet's coffee and sells a small assortment of specialty food items like spiced nuts and imported cheeses.
