Everett & Jones Barbeque   

I LOVE Everett and Jones Jack London Square. The food is FANTASTIC--I love the BBQ and all of the sides!! I love the decor. It is one of a kind and can't be improved on. Sets a total ambiance. The service is not always great--but when the food comes it's hot and delicious. The wait people are always nice and friendly. The restaurant is an Oakland treasure!!!! A must to experience for anyone coming to Oakland.

if there is a long line I would still reccomend eating there because thats when the food is perfect. The jack london location tastes too commercial. For real BBQ go to the Berkeley location and thank me later.

No one... no one.... who has ever had decent barbecue, could even give this place a star. Bad service with soul food is to be expected, in fact, it is part of the ambiance, but combine service that sucks with bad barbecue and it is sacrilege. This is not barbeque, it is profanity. The worst barbecue in Kansas City or a hovel in Texas qualifies as a haute cuisine compared to this trash. Shameful... Why do you even list this place.
