Fleur de Lys is one of the finest restaurants in San Francisco. Lose yourself in an opulent dining room and an outstanding meal. Chef Keller never repeats the menu. Memorable Dinner

During a brief stay in SF, I picked this place out of a hotel's restaurant review guide because it was closest to my hotel. The polite hostess accommodated my same day reservation request without issue (weekday) and my wife and I proceeded without any idea what to expect. Out of the thousands of meals I've eaten in my life I only care to remember about 20 and most of those I recall due to the company I kept or strange circumstances surrounding the meal. Few I remember for the atmosphere, service and food. The meal at Fluer will be number 21 and the reason is my wife and I had a wonderful time in every aspect possible. Treat yourself to such a meal as well.

now that's a restaurant

in the world of mediocrity which has taken over this City , few Restaurants qualify as such , most deliver food which has been partially prepared outside and finished just prior serving. This restaurant actually has been reinventing itself at every menu for over a decade , offering the finest food in the most artistic presentation , one can only wonder how a Chef such as Keller can give such quality , it remind me the difference between Apprentice and Chef , keller is a master plain and simple .

Champagne? Complimentry at Campton Place w/ choice! Appetizer after an hour! Halibut-wonderful; vegan soup wonderful; filet room temp! Wait staff scuuried about in small rm with almost collision at table; waiter not as cool as he thought! Overall - overpriced & overrated.
