My husband took me as a surprise night out. It was fabulous. Service was good, if not slightly dicey, but overall okay. Food was fantastic. A little bit ambitious, but for the most part the kitchen pulled it off very well. Don't plan to sit anywhere but outside. It seemed much more fun dining al fresco and watching the movie. There are plenty of space heaters so you won't mind. Go! Try it! It's yummy!

This is a great place to impress a date or a group of out of town visitors. Its not quite as busy as it used to be (thank god) but the mojitos are just as good. sometimes the food is a bit over ambitious but still delicious. beautiful.

THis is still a wonderful place to spend an evening. Food was terrific and service was knowledgeable about both food and wine. The crowd is a bit calmer than in the earlier days. Setting is still great. A different place to spend an enjoyable evening with friends.

JoeMahoe's Review

I too was hesitant before going, based on the bad reviews and constant friends telling me it's totally elite and snotty. But I had an out-of-town guest and decided to brave the attitude. I was pleasantly surprised. The waiter & hostess was very nice and accomodating. We got a table in the courtyard in front of the screen. The ambiance was really refreshing and pleasant. My guest enjoyed it. We had a oysters, which were excellent. We also had a fish dish that could have been better. It was typical foo foo quantity (you know, $25 for 6 mini chunks of fish). But the dessert made up for it. Overall, it was not as intimidating as I had imagined and the food was pretty decent. Our waiter had a french accent, but that was as snooty as it got. He was very helpful and cool. I'd recommend it at least once.
