The giant freshly roasted turkeys dangling in the front windows are a good indication of what you'll find at Harry's Hofbrau. This dark, cavernous faux German chalet could become a second home for hard-core meat-eaters. (Vegetarians, it's slim pickings for your crowd.) Freshly carved cuts of beef, pork, turkey and chicken are served buffet-style among fake brick walls and large wooden folk statues. Pick a hand-carved ham, turkey or corned beef sandwich, or mastermind your own creation. Other dishes include cole slaw, baked macaroni and cheese and Chinese chicken salad. This mecca of meat is large, loud and ideal for families or large groups. Romantic twosomes will be a little out of place here, but if the love of your life has a caveman-sized appetite, then Harry's could be quite amorous indeed. -- Sean Coffey
