Food very good. Receptionist some attitude and very "busy" Male waiter had major attitude problems toward our family group-sort of show the country bumpkins how things work in the big city. Management should take a look and correct.

The food here is top-of-the-liine. I have been for lunch only, as a business guest of Pac Bell which is just around the corner. The prices are very high, but the food lives up to it. I suspect that the evening meals are just as fine.

Went there on December 19th and was surprised to see a restaurant tucked away in tiny Hawthorne St. The atmoshpere was festive. Nice decor especially the oval bar and kitchen visible at our table. Service was first class. Always attentive to detail. Food was great as I started with a Foie Gras with Apple Bread and that was out of this world. Also had the seafood sampler with the variety of sauces that went well with the shellfish (particularly the tomato creme aoili). NY Strip Steaks are flown in daily from NY and had a very delectable flavor especially with the peppercorns. I had the lamb with pomegranate sauce and that was a winner. Also had a taste of the yellowtail tuna, another winner. Overall it was enjoyable and I'd go back there again.
