Izzy's is THE place if you want a delectable, mouth watering meal. The plump, perfectly cooked steaks there arent the only appealing thing on the menu, though. Wonderful crab cakes, awesome calamari and a creamed spinach to die for. FYI: as an Izzy's native, I HIGHLY suggest getting the signature Izzy's creamed spinach and potatoes to accompany your choice of meat. The creamy, yet cheezy au gratin style potatoes melt in your mouth. Oh, i almost forgot about their unbelievable creme brulee...to die for!! Plus, the lively yet homey atmosphere makes it a pleasure to dine in, not a snooty or stuffy environment. Try the one in the marina in SF as well...that one's the original. Gotta try it!

Excellent Food & Service. My Friends and I ensure we eat here at least once every time we visit San Francisco. We are from New Orleans and we love food....but this is the place on the West Coast!
