People come from all over San Francisco for birria, the warming and restorative goat stew served here weekends only. A huge bowl of spicy, richly flavored birria, with house-made corn tortillas and a bottle of Negra Modelo beer will put you in the right mood in no time. It's also a good lunch spot, serving fairly standard fare -- tacos, burritos and the like -- but with good ingredients. For a refreshing drink that makes a nice beginning to a meal, order the agua fresca, whichever they've made that day. Los Jarritos is a colorful space, with tiny clay jars (jarritos) strung on strings around the walls.

Fresh, tasty and fun!
Love it and I am lucky to live 2 blocks away!! I'm always taking people from outside the neighborhood, mostly for breakfast on Sunday.
Has to be the best
No matter what time of the day or night you go the staff make you feel like you like family. and you will feel like you just step in to Old Mexico.This place has the best Mexican food anywhere around. If you like great tasty spicy food then this is the place for you.
