The same wonderful service; the same art deco charm, & of course, the same old world Italian cuisine. Bravo

I overheard one of the long time waiters there say the steaks were the best thing on the menu. My vote's the Scampi. Knowledgable bar staff. Snooty Mafia style service at the tables give it distinction.I'll bet you can't finish what they serve you although the taste is often worth busting a gut for.Huge vases adorn the floor in an art deco setting.The counter is reserved for residents only...the chef's show,s are reality tv 3D circus.

from '74-'86, I worked as a chef at O.Joe's. Then "Babe" Rocca actually ran the place, and things were quite good. Then his sons took over, and things may not be as the "ole man" did them, but still it is the only place with the best deal around. Fresh, prepared with attitude, and served with combustive-subjectivity, the whole arrangement is the total package for diners seeking the ultimate eating experience. Ciao,bella! Joel C.
