In ShortThough it's always crowded, long lines at the counter move fast, thanks to a small army of order takers. Tables are basic but comfortable, and diners share them, community style. The one-handed meals come with a choice of fillings, from the basic carne asada to three different kinds of chicken.

I grew up across the street from Pancho Villa in the mid-80's, now i live in Seattle. I took my girlfriend their 2 years ago and now we're coming back to look at it to model a restaurant like it in Seattle. She was amaze of how busy it was and and very successful. The food, i have never tasted anytning like it.It's the best.

I am a native and i love this place. i would drive 25 miles just to eat here. tacos are the best. salsa is alwasy fresh and you can have as much as you want. the service is fast and friendly. no other place in sf like it.
