Piccadilly Fish & Chips   

I cab across town to eat here or take home (splashed in good malt vinegar and salt & pepper, wrapped in the daily newspaper). Once you've been there twice the staff knows you and what you want , unless you want to surprize them with a switch. Chips are double cooked to be done all the way through, and very crisp. Fish is perfection...they have homemade coleslaw, crisp, sweet and fresh (the only side dish there is) as well as homemade tartare sauce...ask for a dollop from the bucket. I frequently eat in the window and watch the show pass by on this so-called infamous street. Have actually met people from all over the world having their fish n chips there. So the lighting isn't romantic...it's a fish n chips shop. Go...Eat...Enjoy!!! p.s. the calamari is to die for!!!
