Best Place to eat
My girlfriend and I eat here(SF) once or twice a month, service is great, food is to die for...the Filet Mignon melts in your mouth and the lobster is oh sooo good. Prawns are bigger than ever
My kind of place
I frequent this establishment at least once every two weeks. Staff is attentive to my every need. To me, this is my home away from home. Especially, the Van Ness Street site. To not partake in this restaurant would be a loss for you.

BEST FILET EVER. Been to the Ruth's in Maui, Las Vegas, Irvine & S.F.. You have to try the crab cakes and of course the filet. It is cooked perfectly and hot to the last bite. I am a meat lover & have tried many, many steakhouses & this is by far the best one ever. Even Emeril's DelMonico in Vegas can't compare. You have to go!

I can't argue with one thing- it is the best steak I have ever had. The service is excellent as well. That said, for me, it was not worth the price. I can go to another steakhouse and get a good steak (admittedly not as good as Ruth's Chris) with soup or salad, appetizer and dessert for literaly half the price of just getting steak at Ruth's. Charging $30-$35 for the steak and an additional $5 EACH for the potato and the vegetable is just not worth it, in my opinion. Even as good as the steak is.
