Truly Mediterranean   

We just got back from a week in San Francisco. We ate at Truly Med in Little Italy 3 times. The Falafels were great and the Shawarmas were superb. We encountered extremely friendly staff and the place was very clean. We will be back!

A few yrs ago the chicken BBQ was only $2.75. Now it is $6.95! What a ripoff! Why is this better than a BBQ beef Burrito from Pancho Villa which charges $4? Truly Mediterranean has slid way downhill by jacking up the prices ($7-$10 for a dump?) and hiring nicaraguans and Vietnamese to do they cooking and serving. They should change their name to "Truly UN-mediterranean".

The Mediterranean combo ($7) was fantastic. The hoomoos and israeli salad were really really good. Pita was a little on the thin side, but my brother loved them. The falafal balls were a little small and not fresh, but the fact that you can get grape leaves, israeli salad, cucumber salad, two kinds of hoomoos, pita, and falafal balls is wonderful!

great atmosphere, music bumping, servers synchronizing themselves to serve the customers and food is great. try the yogurt drink, its great! just make sure you have some water afterwards. Drdave
