With an Italian waitstaff and authentic Italian cooking, Ca'Dario feels like a trattoria in Italy. The Piedmontese chef, Dario Furlati, prepares such classic Northern Italian dishes as spinach ravioli with butter -- sage sauce, crispy calamari with shrimp and scallops and a hefty veal chop. The rotisserie dishes -- duck, chicken and rabbit -- are remarkably succulent. A few prime tables line the sidewalk outdoors. Plenty of Italian wines appear on the list, and the desserts are surprisingly good.

SANTA BARBARA'S FINEST
FOOD AND SERVICE ARE SUPERB. UNUSUAL PASTA DISHES MAKE THIS A REALLY HIGH CLASS ITALIAN RESTAURANT. BEST OF ALL, THERE IS NO "ATTITUDE", AND EVERYONE WHO WORKS THERE IS PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. INDEED SANTA BARBARA'S BEST RESTAURANT. DON'T MISS IT.
The most authentic italian SB
Everything is fresh, no hydrogenated oils no canola oils, no modified food starches all the real thing from Italy, and I know i'm Italian

Was there with my daughter (who lives in S.B.) on Sept. 23, 2004. By far the BEST restaurant I visited while in S.B. And our waitress (Nicole?) was OUTSTANDING!!! She absolutely went that "extra mile." Food was fabulous!! Would HIGHLY recommend it!!! I'll be back!
