Zelo's has been a favorite restaurant and dance club among Santa Barbara's young professionals for over twenty years and is still going strong. It's also popular with high school and UCSB students who appreciate the club's 18+ nights. A different DJ is on the premises each evening offering hip-hop, rap, funk, house, techno, jazz, blues and salsa for the people on the hi-tech dance floor. Thursday night is devoted to reggae, an especially popular night with students. There is also a bar area away from the disco action, and an outdoor patio as well. Food is California classic: chicken, pasta, steaks, and fresh seafood, and the bar offers a full spectrum of beer, wine and cocktails. -- Margo Kline

Yeah, alright Natalie is cool, but gone now. How on earth does this place get best dance club in the Independent every year? Ridiculous.

You know I can't rmember exactly when I went but I can say the guys there can't keep their hands to their selves, ha, everybody knows when your giving them the turn down, right? get with it guys. and no I'm not gay.

DUDE, when I went it was wack! It was the worst club I had ever been to. Its sooo small and there wasnt anybody there. Oh yeah, it was a Saturday night at like 10 pm. It sucks.
