Serving Seattle since 1927, Ballard Blossom is now the largest florist in the Northwest. It's managed to combine all the benefits of a large operation -- the pick of the wholesale crop every morning, for example -- with the warmth and charm of a small family-owned shop. While you can have Ballard Blossom deliver anywhere in Seattle (as well as Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood and Bellevue), it would be a shame not to stop in and experience its friendly service firsthand. The front of the large showroom is devoted to silk and dried flowers, and gift items including Archipelago Botanicals soaps and candles, pottery, ceramics and Dilettante chocolates. It's the open workshop in the back that's the real attraction. There you'll find a large staff of designers busily working at creating colorful arrangements. They're delighted to drop everything and help you realize your floral vision. If you're in a hurry, a refrigerator case holds a selection of traditional yet imaginative designs, as well as must-haves such as single red roses.

Florists

This is a beautiful store with lots of little add-ons to look at. A little pricey but worth it. The real name is 'Ballard Blossom' NOT Ballard Florist. Please correct that because I couldn't find it due to that mistake.
