Looking for something a little off the beaten path? Try the Inn at Queen Anne, a 1924 brick hotel on the south slopes of Queen Anne Hill. Nicely situated in a neighborhood full of shopping, movies, theaters and restaurants, the Inn is a home away from home. All of the rooms, which were renovated in 1994, have private baths, fully-stocked kitchenettes and walk-in closets. The decor isn't spectacular, but it's a very comfortable place to stay -- even for the long- term. Grab a muffin and a cup of coffee from the continental breakfast on your way out the door and then explore the city. You're only blocks away from the Seattle Center and other major attractions are within minutes of the hotel. -- Patricia Whisler
