staff sucks -- avoid at all costs
By newtoseattle09 on 07/03/2009
Ozzie's has arguably the worst staff I have ever encountered in my life! My buddy and I walked in this evening (July 2, 2009). The doorman was rude to my buddy and argued with me about the authenticity of my 2008 Texas drivers license. When i offered to show him my other IDs he started hurling slurs at me. I'm not sure what his peeve was -- whether he didn't like my face or the fact that he was getting some sadistic pleasure turning away someone who had a Texas ID. I asked to talk to his manager and he forcefully (he was 3 times bigger than me) moved me out and shouted out that this was a private place and it was up to him whom to allow in. Further he said that I should "return back to wherever I was from". Later, I called Ozzies with the hope to be connected to the manager there and the phone operator was very rude and suggested that i call the next day. This tells me that the problem is not just your doorman but a consistent theme amongst many of your staff. I will never go back and will share this message across all kinds of social media with the hope that everyone else avoids this place as well.

Bar Good, Karaoke Sucks!
By bluebloodblondie on 09/11/2006
If you have money to waste and like to sing/make a fool of yourself then this is the place to be. Song selection is great but the KJ on Saturday nights is an ass. I haven't been out to do Karaoke since I lived in San Diego 6 years ago so I was not prepared for the total lack of professionalism of the KJ. I usually wait to tip the KJ until after he has put me up and not before. But at this location, money talks and talent walks. My husband actually ended up putting in a tip and the host promised to put me up in the next 3 but as there must have been people with an endless supply of cash my name kept getting shoved further out and after 2 hours we gave up and went home. On the flip side, the diner and its wait staff were awesome! So if you prefer the sports bar side of Ozzie's then I give that a big thumbs up!
