The Paramount Hotel, which opened in September of 1996, is located just on the outskirts of the downtown core. All of the 146 moderately priced guest rooms offer spacious living areas and elegant European dcor. The business traveler will find this hotel an oasis -- the in-room telephones are equipped with voice mail and a dataport and internet access is available through the television. In addition to traditional room service, the hotel also has a restaurant, the Blowfish Asian Caf, and there are many dining options available within one or two blocks. Great location -- close to the Paramount Theater, across the street from the convention center and only a couple of blocks from movies and shopping. -- Patricia Whisler
