The Residence Inn at Lake Union has competitive room rates, apartment-style suites and an interior that travelers have come to expect from the Residence Inn chain. The Lake Union spot offers a great location right off the freeway and in front of busy Lake Union. This hotel is about a five-minute drive from the Seattle Center in one direction and the Eastlake district in the other, both areas offering great shops and dining. Right up the street is the Sound Mind and Body fitness club, so you can work off all those meals at Burger King, which is right across the street. -- Kate Mulhern
